A purpose built specimen carp lake designed with carp anglers in mind, One large double swim on a fully reed lined lake with 2 sunken plateau’s and varying depths, a stock of 73 carp currently with 3x 30lb+ consisting of TVL English strains of Sutton, Leney & Dinkesbeuhl, a helping of cross bred special strains not currently found in our other lakes, and some future stunning common’s being the youngsters of Alpha’s lake record Common Stumpy.
Bookings can include optional full use of Glamping pod for that little extra comfort to cater for two anglers or one angler and one non fishing guest,
Built in 2020 primarily as a holding pond we chose to offer this lake for bookings from 2022 to our members due to the high demand.
Lodge Bookings include
Use of heated glamping Pod (fully insulated with closable air vents, full double glazed glass door to watch water from inside)

2x Trakker Bedchairs (just bring a sleeping bag & pillow or your own bed chair if you prefer)

No Lake Viewing
Our venues are not open access so turning up to view is not possible. A No viewing policy is in place with a view of security to our venues and with the anglers best interests in mind.
History
Construction of this lake began in February 2020 until the build was completed in March. The carp stock for Hilltop have come from our very own home bred fish with some special strains added in November 2020.
Named Hilltop for obvious reason as it is built on the far hilltop of Tees Valley, This Lake was initially built purely for tuition & growing on of stock carp but due to requests we chose to offer members full lake exclusive bookings from 2022 for a unique chance to catch special fish on private lake. At 1.5 acre we stocked to allow room for growth expecting a great future of big carp in this lake with the aim of moving these fish on when required to our other lakes, Supplementary feeding will be carried out as/when required to ensure these carp receive the best nutritional needs ensuring they continue to grow reaching their potential weights.
